Meet Tyesha Jones, the heart and soul of Advance Prep Academy! With an incredible 26 years in childcare and 5 years dedicated to APA, Tyesha brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as Director. Though her first love was teaching pre-K for 8 years, she now thrives in guiding children’s growth, supporting parents, and empowering teachers to shine with less stress—leading by example with respect and gratitude.
Living in Decatur, GA, Tyesha is a proud mom of 6 and grandmother of 6, with her loyal red-nose pit, Majik, always by her side. When she’s not shaping young minds, you might catch her dancing and singing to some old-school Rap and R&B from the 80s and 90s or curling up with a good romance novel. Her go-to comfort meal? Fried chicken with mac & cheese—classic and delicious!
A fun fact? Tyesha’s all-time favorite movie is Pretty Woman, but she’s truly a leading lady in the childcare world every day!
